Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using opacify.in (the “website”) or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

About Opacify

Opacify operates a platform that helps businesses connect with and engage developers and development teams. The website provides information about our services and a way to start a hiring or project discussion.

Enquiries and Engagement Discussions

Submitting an enquiry, contact, or lead form begins a discussion only. It does not create a binding engagement, reserve any developer, or guarantee availability, pricing, or timelines. Any engagement proceeds only once separately agreed in writing.

Client-Provided Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for ensuring you have the right to share it. Please do not submit information that infringes the rights of others or that you are not authorised to disclose.

Proposals and Separate Agreements

Specific project scope, fees, timelines, deliverables, intellectual property terms, payment terms, and other engagement details are set out in a separate proposal, statement of work, or written agreement. Where a signed proposal, statement of work, or other written agreement conflicts with these website terms in relation to an engagement, that written agreement governs that engagement.

Fees and Payment

Engagements may be offered on an hourly, monthly, milestone-based, or custom-quote basis. Applicable fees and payment terms are those stated in the relevant proposal or agreement for your engagement. The website itself does not process payments or offer direct checkout.

Project Scope and Change Requests

Work is performed according to the scope agreed for an engagement. Changes to scope may affect effort, cost, or timelines and are handled through the change process described in the applicable agreement.

Timelines and Dependencies

Any timelines are estimates that depend on agreed scope and on inputs, approvals, and access provided by you. Delays in dependencies may affect delivery schedules.

Intellectual Property

Ownership and licensing of work produced during an engagement are governed by the applicable written agreement. Website content, branding, and materials on opacify.in remain the property of Opacify or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

Confidentiality

Information exchanged during hiring or project discussions should be treated as confidential by both parties, subject to any confidentiality or non-disclosure terms in the applicable agreement.

Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse the website, including attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, submit malicious content, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Third-Party Services and Technologies

The website may reference or rely on third-party services and technologies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their use may be subject to their own terms.

Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The website may be updated, suspended, or changed at any time.

Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for general information. We do not make guarantees about results, outcomes, or the completeness of the information provided.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Opacify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the website. Liability relating to a specific engagement is addressed in the applicable written agreement for that engagement.

Termination and Cancellation

We may restrict or discontinue access to the website at our discretion. Termination or cancellation of an engagement is governed by the applicable proposal, statement of work, or agreement for that engagement.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated version is published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the revision.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
